14U Assistant Coach Lindsey Spendlow

Lindsey just wrapped up her first season of coaching for the Colorado Tigers organization and we are thrilled to have her back. Lindsey started her softball career at the age of four. She began her competitive career when she was 10 and has been playing ever since. She attended Erie High School and played softball for Bob Bledsoe from 2006-2009. With the Erie Tigers she won State in 2008 & 2009, and was a part of the tigers runner up team in 2006. She was awarded Academic All-State during her junior and senior years. During her last summer of competitive she was recruited to go play college softball and left CSU to go to Colorado Northwestern Community College, a division 1 junior college. Lindsey’s first year at CNCC she was the starting shortstop and was in the top of the conference for bunts and during her second season she moved behind the plate to catch. After tearing her meniscus she decided to hang the cleats up and lace up her coaching shoes. Her main focus is for the girls to grow as a team and as individuals in all aspects of the game. Teamwork and hustle are her number one expectations and she uses her experiences from playing in every aspect of her coaching. Lindsey believes that academics are an important aspect of every girl’s softball careers and is essential to prepare the girls for the recruiting process.
